Fender Blacktop Jaguar Serial number-

Could you guys help me out please? I've recently acquired said guitar and after the honeymoon period, decided it's not for me. A chap is interested in it but after a quick Internet check he said that he can't verify its serial number. The bloke I got it from is sound so I did'nt do any checking when I got it. I've looked on the internet but found nothing? Any Idea's where to go next?

Check with Fender surely?

It's a modern guitar so they will have details.

There is nowhere on the internet that you can check a fender serial number.

Pm me the number and I'll check when I'm back in the office tomorrow.

I dont think you could cobble up a cheapo Jaguar Blacktop so its very unlikely to be a fake .Good guitars .I had a FSR version and loved it .It was a bit heavy for me at the time but I didnt realise I was ill so it was just that making it feel heavy .
