Sounds wrong..

Not sure if this is the right section but.... 

I sometimes change a key of a song by using something like GarageBand to change the pitch but not the speed of course etc. However, I find if I've changed the key to about 2 tones when I play a solo of it (the same solo I did in the original key but transposed), it just sounds wrong and just doesn't feel comfortable. Does anyone do this and have found the same? Maybe the software just isn't that accurate. Also some songs I find just don't sound right it other keys. Strange
