These are a great guitar. I had one and hate the fact I had to sell it. Would buy another (if I could) in a heart beat. Happy birthday you'll love your new guitar

My missus decided to get me a birth year guitar AND a car from 1975.


I now play a brown hardtail Strat and drive an Austin Allegro Vanden Plas.

At least if the brakes fail on the car I know I can sling the Strat out the back window and it'll drag me to a stop.

Cheers y'all. There's also an amp coming but that is under negotiation atm. Hoping for the new Fender Blues Jr Tweed that comes out at the end of this month but not sure I can justify it.

 If the All-aggro is still running, it'll be worth contacting the Guiness book of records. No other has been recorded running since 1991.....

You are cool.  You are frosty.

I love hardtail Strats.  And although I basically know fuck all about cars, I can recognise anything from the '70s but modern cars all look exactly the same to me.  Most of them seem to be silver, that's about all I could tell you.

(Nice Gretsch too!)

What an excellent idea for a 40th present. It's mine in 2 weeks and I hadn't even considered that this could be the perfect excuse to get another guitar without having to smuggle it into the house!
