Anyone using a P90 in the neck position of an SG?

I like my guitars to have "biting" or "snarling" sounds more than "round" or "smooth" sounds if that makes sense, so while I love the 57 Classic in the bridge position of my SG (it's very uncompressed and open sounding), I'm wondering if I'd prefer a humbucker sized P90 in the neck position.

Anyone else tried this?

I have a P90 in the neck of my SG and love it but I also love the p90 it has in the bridge of it too :D

SG and P90 is perfect match.

Just bought a twin p90 pick guard for my SG. When I get an hour, I'll be having p90s in. :)
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

I find P90s quite midrangey and without a lot of treble. If I wanted snarl and / or bite in an SG neck position I would go for a Filtertron or similar.

SG neck position always sounds a bit woofy and wooly to me anyway, possibly due to the location of the pickup, so something with some clarity should help.

I had a bucker sized p90 in my old standard. Was an SD if memory serves me correctly and pretty decent.

I like P90's in an SG though.
