OK so this is about ten days late but never mind. I've been GASing for a LP for a while and I promised myself that last year for my 40th birthday I'd get one. Well a few things occurred (skint!) so I couldn't do it.

I sold a few guitars earlier in the year and saw a nice LP studio on eBay and put in an offer. Luckily for me he turned it down as it turned out that he had failed to mention it had a neck break. NEXT!

So this R8 came up on the forum classifieds a few weeks back and I had to have it. I've never spent more than £500 on guitar so this is a big step up for me.

I absolutely love it!
LP > sd1 > JCM 800 = rock heaven. I can die happy now.

    Beautiful, welcome to the lp collective. On a side note, a broken neck doesn't need to be a dealbreaker provided the price reflects it.
    Still in this case it worked out better. V nice.

    I realise that a neck break isn't the end of the world but the price I offered originally was more than I would have paid if I had known.
