I got a bottle of Jack Daniel's Honey Whiskey which I'm looking really forward to trying, then my wife cooked a stonking curry which her parents also came over for. A nice couple of homemade cards from the kids too - it's funny how much a hand print or a 'picture of a horse' can mean to you!

Bought dinner by my eldest son last night which was very enjoyable and a card came from my middle and youngest sons in the USA.

Had to take eldest to the shops this afternoon.  Spent a good ten minutes literally leaning on a huge sign advertising fathers day.

Tea will be bean (singular and green) on burnt toast.  That'll teach 'em!

I wasn't expecting anything and told the mrs that but i got woke up with a full english and glass of orange juice, a card saying your like a dad to me (at this point i was already feeling all unnecessary) plus a hand made wooden bead braclet that says stepdad on plus a necklace with a skateboarding kangaroo on, at this point my allergies played up then when i checked my facebook the eldest had tagged me in a picture of a guitar pick saying i couldn't pick a better dad and thanking me for always being there for me and said she loved me. It partly makes up for not being able to see my daughter

My dad's a jehovahs witness so I can't get him anything. Once again my pets have let me down and got me nothing.

My eldest, who earns rather mode than I do, has bought me a trip to St Petersburg. Still in shock as I'd have been perfectly happy with a card and a pint. Something I'd probably never have done myself, and currently feeling very guilty that that's too much for a pressie.

I got a bacon sandwich for breakfast, two hand made cards......and an Air-Fix Gift Set (BBMF Lancaster plus 2 x Spitfire). This appears to be a cunning plan by my 6 year old, as he knows he'll get to help build it, and when it's done it'll go in his room, so really he's convinced Mum that this is just what Dad wanted.

My youngest is 23 and the other two dont live with me.

Real ale, Jurassic World at the Cinema and an all you can eat buffet (actual not euphanism). The air con broke down at Cineworld so we get free tickets. Terminator next then.
