What's this (pink) guitar?

Because the bloody video producer is happy enough to spend long, lingering moments on the boy that he or she has obviously got the hots for but cuts guitar shots down to subliminally quick flashes.  Grrr....

Anyone know what is the pink guitar which the singer is playing?

Thank you!  I've never even heard of these but yeah I reckon that's the kid with a custom paint job or something.  It's an Aussie band so an Aussie guitar would be quite plausible.

100% that is a Maton- maybe an MS503 but probably an MS500 based the pickups.

Magic Dirt are a decent sized Aussie band- they would have access to the custom shop, so the pink colour is likely to have come from there.

They aren't big outside Oz I don't think.

I've never heard of them touring here but I don't really have my finger on the pulse anymore.

I did several gigs on the same billing with them in the early to mid 90's- I didn't realise they were still going to be honest.

I thought they folded when Dean died.

Dean was a cool guy.

I was never hugely into their music.

William Arthur (singer) was a bit of a genius songwriter, I knew him quite well from the Sydney scene- he died of a drug overdose quite a few years ago.

They never his it big but they absolutely deserved to.
