Strap Locks - Manufacturers

How many types of strap lock are there? Reason for asking is that I bought a MM Silhouette Special 2nd Hand and I'm pretty sure it has Strap Locks.

However, they are not Dunlop - I've already got those on other guitars.

I bought a set of Ernie Ball locks (pictured below ) - it's not those either although I think that they are the right "style" but the diameter of the spigot on the strap is too wide to fit the hole on the body.

So, what are the likely options?

I thought the MM guitars used Ernie Ball strap locks.    A similar dual design to the dunlop ones that work with a regular strap or locking.

The buttons on the guitar are Schaller
Why not just fit the buttons that came with the Ernie Balls

Why not just fit the Ernie Balls? Good question....just curious as to what they actually are :) Now I've searched - I can see that they are Schaller. Thanks Clarky and Jon.

Incidently Jon, I'll be bringing one of my parts a casters your way to hopefully straighten out my bodges! I've managed to sheer the heads off one of the small screws that's holds the machine heads in place - didn't drill a deep enough hole :(

Beat me to it but looking at the button I was going to say Schaller.

My straplocks consist of washers I got from the bargain bucket at B&Q. They sit between the strap and the button so it's always on.

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.

Why not use Grolsch washers & avoid overpriced mechanical strap locks?
