Let us know what you think of it @merlin. I nearly bought it myself but I wasn't sure about the wattage being high enough for me.

So far I'm very impressed. I don't mind the lower wattage at all, it has a very characteristic sound and feel and it was the lower wattage that attracted me to getting a 5e3 type amp. I'll be happy to mic it when necessary and the tone is simply superb.

I've played through it with guitars with humbuckers, P90s, telecaster type coils (actually an Ovation Viper), a "strat type" guitar (actually a Gibson S-1) and with just a little tweaking, every instrument sounds wonderful through it.

I think it's going to be adequately loud for most of the gigs I'll do, and as I said if not, then I can mic the little bugger. It's surprisingly versatile and easy to get a tone that projects and cuts through pretty much anything, unless there's going to be a really loud drummer. It has a beautiful, creamy breakup and is exceptionally sensitive to pick dynamics and the guitar's tone and volume pots.

Amazingly light too, I could be walking to gigs!

Thinking it would have sounded great alongside my J20 now ;)
