NTGD the result of Advice: What should I do with this Strat.

So new pickguard and pickups (Oil City Rocket 55s) supplied pre wired by @TheGuitarWeasel so a big thank you there!

The dodgy Wilkinson roller nut replaced with a conventional nut which needed a new piece of rosewood grafting to the end of the board. The last photo you can just about make out the join. Also single string tree added. Top job by my local luthier David Rowlinson.

And it sounds bloomin' marvellous :) Rehearsal tonight and gig on Saturday.

    I love my strat plus. I swapped the wilko for the fender roller nut with back plate.  Your luthier has done a great job there though.

    Yes he's has done well. I took about 15 photos trying to show the join but it's almost impossible to photograph and only just visible from very close up. He's blended the finish on the fretboard face and some how managed to match the 20 years of beer and sweat treatment perfectly :)
