A full-sized P90 and a Telecaster bridge aren't compatible. You need a half bridge like this Wilkinson one which is on my guitar.

I didn't ask for a full sized P90, I asked for a Tele bridge sized P90, not too difficult to grasp is it?

Anything Tele-sized won't sound like a P90 though, it's all about the coil size.

It might be the closest he can get without routing though.

Having slept on it, I haven't completely ruled it out, but a bit of router practice might just happen.......

Buy a Squier Telecaster Custom for 150ish - excellent for the money and the Duncan Designef pickups are great.

The Telecaster pickup rout is much longer than a P-90 so you'll need to cover the holes front and/or back with something if you want it to look tidy.

Just askin'  Why specifically P90 esque rather than a high output Tele pickup.  SD Lil'59 etc are more Tele than 'bucker if you are looking for that 'more' sound.
