you know you'll be hearing sides of my playing that are not well known about..

most folk think I'm a mindless shredding headbanger..

erm... cos I am.. well.. mostly at least..

but on this album you'll hear sides of me that have never before been recorded..

and... this album also contains the most acoustic playing I've ever recorded on an album [classical, 6 string dread and 12 string]

and I have to say that I had a ball doing this one..

As I said on FB - it's got a great 80s pop quality to it.

Bass is like a mix between Pino and Nick Beggs. That's cool with me!

ahh... something I should mention for those of you that are interested….

all the electric guitars on the album were recorded with the Axe-FX II jacked straight into the desk

I used 6 different amp models and two different cab IR's

it's true what you said…

this album shows a side of me that most folk will not expect..

most folk won't even know this exists..

that said.. it's a style I deeply adore..

I guess you could say that funk brings out the drummer in me..
