Fender Starcaster - strat style

I have seen for sale a Fender Starcaster - strat style guitar going for what seems like a good price. Are they just basic, cheap guitars, or are they any good?

    They are beginner / entry level guitars that were sold through Argos etc.  The Squier equivilent is the Bullet.
