While viewing YT, click on the vid, top line (I can't remember what it says exactly - something like copy video) and post in the thread here.

I don't think my father ever pinstriped a guitar but he could do quite similar things. He'd learned to be a draughtsman in the 40's and had all sorts of tricks for doing straight lines and curves without any equipment except for a pen or brush. I guess they had to do rough sketches sometimes but wanted really good rough sketches so they got taught those things.

The only place they still teach these skills is India.  Hence why British Architects plan trees on manhole covers
