having been warned about it, I am now wearing my earplugs. I think I'll know when the alarm goes off, but in the meantime it's lovely and peaceful

My old place of work seemed to save the fire drills for the days when it was pouring with rain and there was a nice sea wind coming in from the Mersey just over the road. Perfect conditions to evacuate a seven story building and make us stand in the car park for 45 minutes.

I went to the caff for a brew and let it all blow over, don't think anybody ever noticed!
