@Pwalo - a little asking around has shown that early models used to come with this sort of case candy so could well be legit. I've asked about the model number on the certificate in comparison to the actual guitar, so should have some more info soon. 

At the moment, it looks legit though.

The aluminium flightcase was definitely an older N4 thing. Mine has one, whereas the models I bought after about 2010 came in the smaller, black ones. The silver case gives much more protection.
