SOLD- Fender Squier JV Stratocaster from 1983, Sunburst *Price Drop*

Fender Squier JV Stratocaster from 1983 with 80's upgrades. 

Bought on here last year, this is a shred monster, vintage lived in feel with modern (80's) appointments. 

A great example of a JV strat. There are numerous small marks to the body but otherwise it's very well preserved. It's loaded with 1980s HS2 Dimarzios (stacked humbuckers àla Yngwie Malmsteen). It also has 1980s locking tuners believed to be Dimarzios. Lovely dark rosewood fretboard which has naturally rolled edges with age and use. 

It's also had a professional refret in the past with jumbo wire which feels superb under the fingers. The work has been done very well. There's very, very little fretware, no issues. I have a hard case to go with it, not original. 

 Price: £500 

I am happy to post 24hr parcelforce for £25. 

Alternatively the guitar can be viewed/picked up from the Carmarthen area of south west Wales.

sure thing , the fret job was done in glasgow by jimmy egypt , and the machine heads are japanese locking . and it had a black case fender 80s style , great guitar thou .

As a previous owner of this very axe, I can vouch for its quality. Squier JVs vary quite widely (more due to how well they've been looked after than any factory inconsistencies), this particular one is excellent and has some very tasty mods. And at this price it's one hell of a bargain.
