SOLD: '84 Greco Mint Collection Les Paul

This is the guitar I've owned the longest - around 8 years think - but it's not getting used so is now part of my big clear out.

It's a properly good Les Paul, spec is :

Goldtop / dark back
'Screamin 82 pickups that sound fantastic
2 piece back / 2piece top (I think - will check this)
Long neck tenon joint
Lovely dark rosewood fretboard
Neck profile is between 50's & 60's - very comfortable
Weighs around 10.5 lbs

Two things to note with this guitar:

1. it's had a headstock repair - it had a small crack at the headstock when I bought it which was repaired by SGL guitars (glue injected and clamped) and has been rock solid ever since.

2. It started life as an all black guitar - I had the top refinished in gold nitro by the legendary lamf68.... Like a complete dick I then proceeded to attempt to relic it because at the time I desperately wanted an aged R7... The relicing isn't brilliant and I feel like I should apologise to Rich for ruining all the hard work he put into it.

That said, it is a killer sounding and playing Les Paul (which I'm sure rich would confirm) that could be easily refinished if desired.

I'm after £450 for it including a hard case, plus postage

Ah mate it was a pretty shonky job involving a buffer, screwdriver and a sharp knife if I recall correctly... I'm still trying to blot it out of my memory if I'm honest! Tis a lovely guitar though!

Sounds like a very rare case of 'sleep relicing'. Not good.

Cash only sorry - although I'm thinking of keeping this now and getting the top refinished in a funky metal flake colour - I played it last night and it's great

I think it look good the way it is to be honest. Though I've never been a fan of guitars that look new anyway.
