SOLD - Tokai MIJ Goldtop Les Paul £750 ono

Top of the range Tokai Goldtop. Made in Japan in 2001, one piece mahogany back. Open book headstock. Fully upgraded electrics and pots with Bareknuckle Nantucket P90s. Fantastic sound. A few dings and bit of belt rash. Certainly as good as the Gibson equivalent. £750 with Bareknuckle pickups installed and original pickups supplied or £650 with original pickups installed. Hard case and scratchplates included.

Gawd, that's beautiful - could you measure the neck thickness at the first and twelfth please?

In reply to Fifty9 - I'm not sure which model it is as there are no indications anywhere on the guitar (even in pickup routings) and I have owned it for approx a year. Serial no is 0104591 which I think indicates a 2001 guitar.

In reply to benecol - approx 23mm at first fret and 24/5mm at twelfth. Quite difficult to measure that accurately but I think I have it pretty close.

 If you take out the neck pup and see the long:med tenon extending into the cavity  it"s LS 145 or upwards. If it's a set neck without said joint it will be 110 downwards. The 'deep joint' one piece backs are the easiest way to tell the higher end models. My 145 goltop is without any markings, but my LS 150 has it painted in the bridge cavity.
