Anyone else tried a Zoom A3 Acoustic Pedal?

Got a Zoom A3 about a week ago to use live through a PA.  Having spent lots of time fiddling with it I'm not impressed.  The guitar modelling doesn't seem to make any noticeable difference and neither do most of guitar bodies you use for set-up.  It certainly didn't improve the guitar tone through either an amp, headphones, my powered monitirs or a PA.  Wasn't much impressed with the reverbs either.

I returned it to the store today but just wondered if anyone else had any experience.  I was using it with a Faith Neptune baby jumbo cutaway acoustic fitted with a shadow nanoflex undersaddle pickup.  Maybe it makes more difference with a straight piezo.

I'm very much a newcomer to playing solo live acoustic and just wanted to achieve a nice rich hall type sound with plenty of reverb.
