Darn! Missed out on that. A bargain at £220 7-) So still looking...I tried an Ibanez AGB200 today. Not sure about that one. The action, fret buzz etc. problem is it's hard to find an Allen Woody bas to try out. Other than that I tried a long scale Gretsch that was great. Hmmm.

Economic limitations mean I've gone with a Harley Benton HB 60. Still, it stops me busting my credit card on a whim & a Gretsch 5440 LSB 8->

I had a Allen Woody for a while, it was a nice instrument but like many Epi basses it suffered from neck dive.
