Great opening scene, very spooky. The usual "establish the main characters" bit in the middle and pretty good final sequence. So far, me likey

Hoping AMC do as good a job with this as with the original.

Its good, nice fresh zombies and obviously a lot less of them.

Zombies have not been a threat in the main series for a while, unless its a herd.

There was a free showing on Freeview tonight of the pilot ( Channel 59), maybe repeated during the week I guess. Alright, I'm not sure I was 100% grabbed and certainly not grabbed enough to fork out for BT TV.

I enjoyed epi 2, a good build up, looks like they have toned down the explicit gore compared to the walking dead, but they may just be teasing us.

Anyone been watching Z Nation? Saw a couple of episodes but it seemed a bit shit..... like Walking Dead Lite.

Only seen the pilot so far. Not bad. Very slow but that's obviously intention, because the viewer knows what's coming, to an extent.

Looking forward to seeing how it develops. The writers are probably thrilled they can write some zombie stuff that doesn't have to worry about the comic storylines on any level.

Just found that if you get BT sport channels on sky you get the nice AMC channel too.

It's made by the same company that made Sharknado and all the other similar films so that probably explains a lot.in fact in the last episode they even had zombies flying out of a tornado in a cheeky nod to the film.

I actually quite enjoy it.It's really funny in places as it doesn't take itself too seriously,unlike TWD.
