Morning,
I've been in touch with a few people regarding this guitar already.
I posted it in another thread offering it for sale, and I immediately received a few enquiries.
However, nothing concrete as of yet, and I could really do with some cash before the bank holiday weekend!
So, I'm gonna offer it up to everyone in the hope of a quick sale.
If I get no bites before Monday next week, then I have some tasty trade/part ex deals on the table that I'll probably go for instead.
Anyway, it's a Raygun Relics Esquire/Tele Custom Hybrid sorta-thing
Not 100% what the body is made of to be honest, but it's moderately heavy.
I'll try to get an accurate weight posted tonight.
Neck is a chunky all maple jobby, as you can see.
Radius is 9.5 I believe, possibly 10.
Currently has quite a high action as the previous owner used it for slide.
I never bothered to change it as I'm one of those weirdos who actually likes a high action.
However, this can be tweaked before shipping/collection.
The pickup is a superb Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell.
This sounds the absolute bollocks and it can also be split/tapped (whatever you call it) using the push/pull tone knob.
Not sure if the machine heads are branded, but they hold tune very well.
Hell of a lot better than some machine heads I've had on much more expensive guitars.
Relicing has been very tastefully done by Graham on the body and neck - looks very cool.
Hardware has also been aged to suit the look of the guitar.
Has the "F" logo on the headstock - this was applied before I bought it.
Just for the record, this obviously isn't a genuine Fender instrument!
Anyway, looking for £250 with Fender padded gig bag.
This is what I paid for it (without the gig bag), so just looking to recoup that.
It really is a great guitar for that price.
I'm based in Wigan, Lancs but I'm happy to travel around.
Also happy to ship the guitar.
Cheers,
Lew
