Decided to sell this guitar as I've got too many strats, and I really can't see this one getting played.

Absolutely amazing quality guitar, handmade in the states by Gerard Melancon. Up there in terms of quality with Suhr and Tom Anderson.
This one has had a few knocks and bumps, but that never bothered me, it still looks amazing and is a joy to play. Most of the dings are along the back edge, so the guitar still looks fine from the front. I've pictured all of the dings and dents. These just add to the mojo of the guitar.

The guitar rings like a bell unplugged, and sounds even better plugged in.

I emailed Melancon with the serial number to get the full spec, and the main man Gerard Melancon replied with a very informative email, the email is below.

The specs are as follows:
Classic Artist #1500, Alder body with Flame maple top finished in Honeyburst.  Body also has tone chambers. The neck is maple with and East Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 10" radius and 1.6875" nut width. S/S/H pickup configuration with Melancon Blues wind pickups. The controls should be Master Volume, Tone for neck and middle and then a tone for the bridge that is also a push/pull to split the humbucker. Chrome hardware with a tremelo. It doesn't state the pickguard but it should  probably  be a pearloid. The order sheet also requested that I sign the back of headstock. Does this appear to be the guitar you have? If so it was completed in November of 2009.

The guitar will come complete with a Spider Aluminium Hard Case, the trem arm will also be included. I've just re-strung it up with Elixir 10-46 strings.

I'm happy to ship this anywhere in the UK, I would be looking for £800, price includes delivery.
