Sorted: strat/tele tuners

Need 2 sets, one for tele one for strat.  Prefer good/high-quality, but brand not an issuse, as long as they work and the price is right, don't be shy.

Howdy... I have two sets... both chrome... one was off 2005 MIJ Fender Strat other off 2001 Fender MIM roland Strat.  From memory the MIJ were the offset tag screw type & I think Gotoh the MIM was the two pin fixing type. Can dig em out & better info if you interested.

Are tele tuners the same as strattys ?

Tele and Strat can be interchangeable, but tuner sizes vary eg between vintage/modern and different brands check this page out and let me know what you got http://www.warmoth.com/Guitar/necks/tunerholes.aspx

Will take a look tonight. I'm pretty certain they were both off straight thro holes. In fact just found sketch scan on my laptop of the Jap strat ones as I replaced them straight away from new with locking tuners. Barrel dia is 9.9mm so fits a 10 dia hole. They are gotoh's

Will check out the MIM ones tonight when I get home.

Hey @fusionista I'm also looking for some tuners for a strat but wasn't sure about the vansons, I assume you've been told they're really good then? Might take a punt.

I got a set for my JTV-59 and have been well impressed. 

Much smoother and more accurate for finer tuning plus the locking element is great at string change time, can't hurt tuning stability either (not that it was an issue).
