Any ideas if the Sanyo battery thing (which I'm assuming is a Sanyo Pedal Juice) will fit under a PT mini?  Can I call dibs until I figure out if it'll fit or not?

  • That's the one, I couldn't think of the name! :D

I'm honestly not sure, but I suspect not - it's taller than a Volto, and (iirc) the Mini is the flat model? Feel free to send over the measurements and I'll check this eve though.

There's a post I've seen on TGP where they had to put taller feet on the PT mini for the sanyo to fit, though depth wise it is shown to slot in between the two bars.

I will give it a miss though as I don't want to put taller feet on my PT it's already a snug fit in the case.  Thanks

  • Apologies to @aswefallintostatic, @Carlos, and @travisthedog but I'm going to hang onto the MF Drive & DIG - both of them are going to be hard to replicate with the Helix*, so I'm taking them off of sale for the near-future at least.

*The MF Drive in particular, it's EQ is like a RAT on steroids - huge range inside.

@Carlos - the DIG is supremely easy to dial in, and that's why I think I may as well hang onto it even though I should be able to dial in multi-delays in the Helix pretty easily.

Too good to sell, I get it!
0reaction image LOL 0reaction image Wow! 0reaction image Wisdom
  • Indeed! It's got a very pleasing tone to the repeats too - the delay modes add some nice colour to the tone and removes the somewhat sterile nature that digital delays typically have/had. I don't mean to pretend that it can emulate dark & gritty BBD tones, but it'll certainly cover the cleaner aspects of a DMM.

Still probably going to miss the DIG, but there's no point in having just one single pedal in addition to the Helix itself!
