I've just taken this in part exchange, always with the intention of selling it on (it was just to facilitate my sale).
Initially I'm offering it at £425 but on the basis that if it doesn't sell quickly at that price, I will spend a bit of time cleaning it up, setting it up, new strings, polished frets etc and will re-advertise with new pictures at a slightly higher price.
This is a 1994 Patrick Eggle Berlin Standard with the following spec:
Mahogany Body with Carved Maple Top
Mahogany Set Neck with an Ebony Fretboard sporting 24 frets
Sperzel Tuners (non locking)
Kent Armstrong (Eggle branded) Pickups
Volume, Tone, 3 Way Toggle with coil split on the tone control
Original Hiscox Eggle Case
The guitar plays well, sounds great and has no issues. The condition is average for a 21 year old used guitar - there are some dings and a couple of bigger indentations on the rear, and some pitting on the bridge but no significant structural damage. The case has a crack and the webbing strap that holds the lid has snapped.
Whilst the 'Standard' was the no frills end of the Berlin range, it was still made by the same people in the same Coventry based factory with the same level of quality as the higher end versions.
Can be collected from Nottingham or posted at cost.

a) reflecting that this is not a minter, and
b) to encourage a quick sale before I invest too much time into it
That said, it's still a great guitar for not a lot of money.
