I imported this from the USA just recently, on a bit of whim as I got a decent price and it's a scratch I needed to itch. It's absolutely as new condition, only been played at home a few times but I'm gonna let it go.

Spec:

Pearl white finish.

Tort pickguard.

Forearm contour (no ribcage contour).

G&L no. 1 neck shape, which is a chunky C with thin satin finish.

12" radius rosewood fretboard.

Everything else is standard ASAT Special fare: fixed bridge, MDF pickups etc.

G&G hard case, and all case candy.

Grab yourself an absolute bargain for an essentially brand new USA made guitar.

MDF pickups? Would they sound more woody than the regular kind, or do they sound a bit cheap and processed?

 

Kidding- the MFDs in my S-500 sound bloody marvellous. US G&Ls are fantastic guitars and this is a good price, so have a free bump.

Totally endorse this view; I've owned two of these guitars (both old style 3 bolters), plus a G&L George Fullerton Signature  St**t - and they're all wonderful sounding guitars with the best pedigree you could hope for.  They were good enough for Carl Perkins out on the road with J Cash...and this one is especially luscious looking.  And a steal.
