Money Chart

I don't know how many of you have seen this, but here's a chart showing all the money in the world. I think it's pretty cool. Makes you realise how insignificant the cost of, say, sending a man to the moon was in the grand scheme of things.

interesting to think that the global derivatives bubble is "valued" at over 1 quadrillion dollars. That's reckoned to be 190k for each body on the planet.

I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.

  • So all we need is a massive prick to burst the massive bubble then.

I seem to remember Ben Bernanke, American economist and chairman of the Federal Reserve, saying in a lecture, that the total losses of the sub-prime crisis, which triggered all of this hell we are in today, was no more in value terms than a bad day on Wall Street.

Look at what a crisis of confidence can do.

And then we will not support Lehman Brothers !!!
Five years ago now, and the rest, as they say, is history.
