    The SA series are also wonderful instruments...The SA2000S, spruce top?  Not so common over here.

    Yep solid spruce top @BluesyDave - made in 1980 I believe.

    Got it for a great price too as it has some knocks and scratches (doesn't really bother me too much).

    Thanks to John, an absolute gent and fellow guitar geek, the SG1000 is a peach and sounds great, hopefully give it a work out this weekend, the builders have my house in bits :(
