Just putting the feelers out anybody got one of the following they want to shift?
White Jim Root Telecaster, Black Jim Root Strat or Jim Root Jazz master? I am not looking for a Squire telecaster either thank you.

There's a jazzmaster on the Guitar Exchange Facebook group. £500 I believe.

A couple of Flat White Teles on Gumtree too. Btw I think the Jazzmaster mentioned above is actually going for £800 (before you get too excited!)

It's deffo going for £800 and it has had the emg's taken out which puts me off. The Jim root guitars are the only guitars I have liked emg's in and it's one of the reasons I want another

No bother thank you for pointing it out I have seen the 2 white tele's on gumtree too. Reckon I might just try ordering a new one Richtone seem to think they can still get them in (telecaster that is)

Have you ever run another EMG guitar with no tone pot? On the regular (not tried X series) pickups it makes a difference to the tone, makes it less compressed both in terms of frequency response and feel. I've found it to have that affect on the hubuckers and single coils. Drew also found the same on his bass. The Root guitars have no tone pot, and several other players run without tone pots. Something to consider anyway.

Hmm I had not thought about that. Doesn't change my mind too much though I still really want a stock Jim root of some description. Thanks for the info though

Annoyingly I can't see it as its a members only group to which I have yet to be accepted. I suspect it will be the same one on gumtree though with the red running from the case interior.

He doesn't mention any running in the ad. Could ask him for an email or summat if you like? I don't know the seller mind.
