Sounds stunning and plays beautifully.

There is buckle rash and a few dings, lacquer checking to the top etc but overall very clean. Comes with a non original but period correct case.

Fretboard price - £2200 - which is very fair for such a beauty!

    That's nice!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Got a gig tonight but will try and upload some when I get home. Only selling as I love beaten up guitars and a completely checked and green 69 goldtop turned up the other day which I bought without thinking of funding!! Was hoping to keep both but can't justify it.

Ah yes - I saw that same gold top for sale in a certain window the other day.  It looks totally killer, but the price seemed a bit low to me?  Was there some reason for that?

Yeah, it's been routed for full size buckers and some changed parts... I cared not a jot! I have some real PAF pickups which are gonna go in it :)

Ah ok - fair enough.  It did make me do a double-take as I walked past.  Absolutely the coolest guitar I've seen in a very long time.

    Congrats!

Not bad for that era - about as good as it gets.

thanks @SimpleSimon I am a bit obsessed with my Gibsons! Yes, pancake body. The mini humbuckers can be swapped for p90's without any routing, I'd love to hear a nice pair of p90's in this!
