Yep, me. Thanks to a competition run by MR (the horror...), my dad and I will be going to see Joe Bonamassa at Mr Kyps. I know "haters gonna hate", and all that codswallop, but I like him.

This is my second ticket win in a few weeks, also going to watch Red Dwarf being filmed in November too! Hope the winning streak continues...

My band - Crimson on Silver  For sale - Blackstar HT-5S

Gear - Guitars, amps, effects and shizz. Edited for Phil_aka_Pip, who is allergic to big long lists.

  • Wow! Lucky on two accounts!

I'm sure it's gonna be ace. Is it just the tickets you've won or is there a chance to meet and greet or owt?

Just tickets I think. Either way, I'm really looking forward to it, 400 capacity apparently, so it's gonna be a squeeze.

I've been to a few good gigs there - it's very intimate, to say the least, but they still get some surprisingly big names there now and then.

I'm not a huge Bonamassa fan, but I'd happily go see him there.
-- Before you ask, no, I am in no way, shape or form related to Fuzzdog pedals, I was Fuzzdog before Fuzzdog were Fuzzdog.  Unless you want to give me free crap, then I'm related to whatever the hell you like! --

I've seen him live twice and he's much better than the sub standard albums and dodgy merchandise might lead you to believe. 8-X Have a great evening.

The Robin 2? If I'd only made the effort as they were cracking gigs apparently. I have played there, possibly my only link to JoBo.

I think it was the Civic Hall where I saw him.

Mr Kyps? Wow, that IS a small venue. Saw the Hamsters there a few times and it was a squeeze for a couple of hundred punters.
