Guitar Ebook

I went along to the PMT Bham this weekend and took my old Yamaha. Sg 3000 for free strings and setup with Andy Viccars, what a nice bloke ! Any way, back to the subject, we had such a good chat with lots of people about guitars in general, where we got them, what we have had etc it got me thinking about knocking up an ebook. So....I am on the case and looking for contributors with interesting guitars and or tales of how you came by them, each entry will have a short bio, and lots of picks of your axes ! If you have professional pics alread then great , if not we will arrange to take some. This will no doubt take some time and I have no idea if it requires any finance but either way I'm gonna do it and hopefully publish on amazon or similar. If this is of any interest please reply to the thread for now and I will get in contact with you as things progress, Many thanks.

I'm ugly, talentless and don't have any really nice, classic guitars.  But it's a nice idea.

We are after anything from no-name to big names - its more about how you got it,.. how long you had it, ...why you like it, ..does it have any history etc

Maybe you have a picture of yourself with the same guitar some 25-30 years earlier !  I know I have..

Bought my aria new in the 70s and have gigged it right through to now. I have some contemporary  photos. 

Bought a 76 strat in 81 and have similarly gigged that right through, photos on the forum of the Cambs blues Jam this Sunday being its latest outing.

In the publishing trade they say 'everyone's got one good book in them - and with most people that's where it should stay'! 

Not dissing this idea though, I think it's a good one.

Yes go for it, I genuinely think it's a good idea. I was just looking for an excuse to get that alleged joke in!
