I've sent stuff (from CDs to guitars) all over Europe, including Poland and the USA, via UPS. I also deal with quite a few Polish businesses via work and never had a problem with their honesty. The only problems I've had is with scumbags in England (no problems with the rest of the UK).

However, if anyone had commented that "the Irish are scumbags"   (or any other national/racial/genetic/etc group) we'd now be dealing with an outcry about this being no place for such offensive racist generalisations and doubtless receiving plenty of flags on the post suggesting that you be banned.

But, I'll apply an interpretation rather than taking the post at face value.

I'm English and I took the comment by @bingefeller to be banter. People need to get a slightly thicker skin.

Totally agreed.

But  I thought I'd highlight  it given the number of times we're challenged on allowing "racist" posts here, which we allow on a similar interpretation as being banter.

Yup, it was banter.  

If someone had of said "the Irish are scumbags", that wouldn't have bothered me at all.  

Do people really think if I thought the English are scumbags I'd hang around a forum full of English people.....
