...and was mindblown.
Swiftly bought a load of Mahavishnu stuff and that was that, big fan. Still remember how much Between Nothingness and Eternity, Inner Mounting Flame and Birds of Fire just melted my brain.
Seen him live a few times, always a treat.

the way McLaughlin plays over and through the rhythm is really quite something and when he decides tae stop playin' and leave some space bloody hell, he is a master at that too.
