I am debating getting some sort of pad controller. I've used Maschine before, and the implementation of it is great. But I can't stomach the price for something I only want to tit about with.
I got an iPad and I'm using Conductr as a controller.
It seems to offer a lot and I'm figuring out how to fit it into a solo gigging setup.
The old push didn't entice me, I think I'm getting the same out of the iPad as I would from push v1.
But this new Push seems much better.... I think I want one and it might give me more functions than the iPad can,.
I wish I could try one for a bit before committing
Initial impression... this is a high quality thing.
It's heavy, and very well built, and exciting to touch and I can't wait to get messing with it.
Related ... If you know anyone who might want a mint iPad Air 2 64Gb wi-fi only, with smart cover. All boxes etc... Now selling.
I bought the iPad to control Ableton for gigging, Push 2 has now replaced it.
It has opened up Ableton to me.
It works so fluidly, I can get ideas out so fast.
I have to customise my mappings on most 3rd party plugins, but it actually does a pretty decent job right out the box.
