Need a decent guitar-to-Pad interface. Any recommendations, such as the Apogee? Any alternatives? I have read that the cheaper you go the hissier they get and I need something I can record with

The Jam is excellent. Steer clear of the ones that use the headphone socket and they're all pretty good afaik.
