Deviant sould that I am, I often type up posts using Outlook at work so that people think I'm doing an email. The problem is that when I post my text, a bunch of jibberish invariably gets posted as well - stuff that neither shows up in the typing box, nor can be deleted afterwards. Any way to fix this?

Also, If I click on 'quote' but then decide not to quote, I cannot get rid of the quote box. Even if I quit and then log on later in the day on a different computer in a different town it is still there to haunt me!! Any fix for that as well?

    that happens to all frankus' posts,  but not  'as well'
    just because you don't, doesn't mean you can't
     just because you do, doesn't mean you should.

    It could be that it's been saved as a Draft.
    Check in the left column of your profile page.

    Is it posting the wonderful Microsoft HTML/XML markup [assuming you cut and paste]? Try this - write your post in Outlook, copy the test and open Notepad - copy the text into Notepad then copy it again and post it here. It should now be free of Microsoft crud.

    Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

    Use phone at work to access/post on the good stuff.

    Problem solved.

    I can access TFB on work's server but government tech (for us proles) is frankly shite and the format's all over the place.
