Anyone got any guitar (cardboard) boxes going spare in the Birmingham area?

As it says, I'm planning to sell off some guitars, to buy different ones naturally, but a flooded garage has taken out my stock of posting boxes. If anyone's got any I could have in the Birmingham area I'd be eternally grateful.

I havent, but when I was looking for a box GuitarGuitar were more than helpful. I would try any larger guitar shop if not come up here.

If you don't have any joy, try a bike shop. I work in one and the bike boxes are great, just need to trim the width down.

I used to post a lot of large boxes for work that I had to make up myself. My tip is forget tape it's useless nowadays. Wrap the whole parcel in cling film then a few tape straps. Cheaper than half decent parcel tape and much more secure.

PMT Bham chuck all their boxes out by the skip, when I enquired they said just take what you want

My experience with GG in Newcastle was " we sell them at £15 for an inner and outer carton" my response was probably a bit rude, so 2 min walk to SoundControl (R.I.P) and they were pleased to get rid of them.
+1 for bike boxes too.

Seconded on PMT, I've been rooting through their skips many a time (sometimes even for guitar boxes ). I've actually usually got a few kicking around myself but got none at the minute, sorry

Bin raking round the back of PMT it is then. Bike shops sounds like a good idea too, hadn't thought of that one. Cheers all!
