I thought that this was a special talent that only I have. Truthfully though, I would suggest that you get someone else (whose ears and ability you trust) to tweak all the various settings etc. whilst you just keep playing - it is very difficult to do it all yourself.

On the rare occasions that my friend, an ex-sound engineer, helped sort out my sound, I sounded even better than I had hoped!
