Sports Personality of the Year has become something of a joke. I used to quite enjoy it, but it appears to be more like an episode of Britain's Strictly got the X factor. 

I'm quite disappointed that Nigel Owens didn't make the shortlist. He's the only Briton to make it anywhere near the RWC Final and was superb throughout the tournament, and generally. It'd be fitting if HE replaced Fury on the list.

SPOTY has become a joke.  Who is Lucy Bronze?  She's only on the list out of political correctness because of the outcry a couple of years ago when there were no women on the list.

Why are there 3 athletes on the list?  Because BBC cover athletics.  Someone like Joe Root is much more deserving of a place on the list than some of the names who are on there, but BBC don't cover cricket so he's not on it.

Fury does belong on the list.  Boxing isn't as big as it used to be, but becoming world heavyweight champion is still a big deal.

That ain't gonna happen man, tysons got his number, klitscho was more than terrible the other week and cannot improve in the rematch.

We live in a different world to these guys, he is a product of his culture and upbringing. Travellers are generally very religious and have tradition roles in married etc.

I think he did very well to go over to Germany and beat big Vlad on that he deserves to win.

He's an easy target for the tabloids, he's not a patch on the lying twat politicians we have "representing us" or the media wankers making programmes about folk on benefits etc.

I think his Uncle is a great fella , he knows his boxing and worked a good game plan to beat Vladimir.

Don't fuck with his dad for real lol.

I wouldn´t fuck with any of them. I´ve been to a few raves when travelers arrived and a lot of people were hit and a lot of records were stolen. Seriously not fun people to mess around with. Funny how Ireland doesn´t afford them any special protection. Possibly because they are not so bloody stupid.
