P90 pickup sizes or other LA cabronita options

Just got the la cab body off drbob today and need a pickup for it, will a soap bar p90 fit in the rout? It's 1.45" x 2.93" or 36.5mm x 73.5mm in new money. Cheers

Simple answer ... no sadly if it is routed for Filtertrons

The P90 is 36mm wide but much longer than a Filtertron at 86.5mm

I don't have any bearing type bits either so it could get a bit expensive. I might have to tape on some wooden strips as guides.

You dead set on P90s? Tron style pickups sound great on Teles

It's cost more than anything @theguitarweasel I only have money to spend that I have from the sale of other stuff. I won't take money from the family kitty so sometimes I have to compromise. My partner is very understanding and would spend everything we have to make me happy. My spending limits are self imposed.
