To keep the momentum going, I've just kicked off round 2 of the story.  @bluenose can join-in if/when he re-appears.

If we keep it moving quickly, let's aim to do 4 or 5 rounds ....

Boy you lot are making hard work of this! On most forums you just start off and anyone follows as and when, none of this 'who's turn is it' stuff. It's more fun to let anyone chip in.

Ohhhhh, does that bring back memories ... used to have a large poster of her on my Uni-room wall.

Probably wasn't totally cool.  But I didn't care.  I'd sit and stare at the poster for ages, just thinking about ... you know ... "stuff" ... her use of the English language, diction, musical ability, dress sense, all of that.

Good point.  Though "withdrawn" is probably better than flounced, in the circumstances.

I think that the story should end there- It actually makes some sort of sense and is no worse than than some of the '80s videos made.

Maybe leave it a week or so and do another one? maybe with a bigger (open?) list of contributors'
