This'll make you feel old(er)

I know there's not much love for ITV, but I bet these Idents stick in your memory.

I'm from here

We saw them all on the TV back in the day, no matter where we were from.

What was your Region?

Edit: Most of us will remember certain ones before certain programmes ;-)

Grampian TV, parochial as fuck and cheese factor 11teen. They reinforced every crap Scottish stereotype for years.

We looked forward to the likes of YTV to get some decent programs on, thank fuck GTV only did a few hours a day but shame it was at silly times.

Wow, that Thames brings back memories! It looks soooooooo dated now. We also got Anglia with the Knight on a horse, which as a kid I thought looked really cool.

Oh ! - the Syndrum - and they say there is no progress...

Love the end as the girls walk towards camera, "and there they are, this weeks star attractions, that could be offered to our winning contestants tonight.  Which will they choose?"

No contest, both of them please...

And now on TV there just seems to be half clad blokes as eye candy for the women, and that isn't sexism ?
Bring back the lovelies I say,  (it is just human nature after all)
    :)

    Same here.

ATV always confused me as a small child because I was sure the adults said ITV, but it clearly said ATV. The logo that looked a bit like an eye, so I wondered if it was a grown-up joke.
