Was in a band for 10 years, which played the same old stuff all the time (partly my fault). The singer moved away at the same time as I got married and brought a house. So guitar was left at my parents for safety for a few months which ended up as 4 or 5 years.

I started again when I got a phone call from an old band member to do a one off gig. I only had a month during which I also had a weeks holiday away to rehearse. Sore fingers all over again.

The gig was embarrassingly bad , but I got my enthusiasm back and have played for the past 4 years or so.

Gigs will hopefully start again in a years time when my wife ( who is the drummer) is back up speed after having two kids.
