Rat & Muff Clone in one pedal

What's Hot
Have any pedal builders here been asked to make a 2 circuit, 2 switch pedal with one half as a Rat clone and the other as a Muff clone? Because I'd order one of those.

    Sounds like and easy enough build. Not made that exact combination before but made many other dual drive pedals. :-)

  • You could call it the Gnat's Chuff (as in "tight as a ...")

    From the little-known Cockney rhyming slang "Gnat's Chuff, Rat and Muff"

    Yep... that's an easy one. 2 in 1 pedals are not any harder than single pedals.

  • Apparently JHS do this as well.

  • Yeah it wouldn't surprise me.

    What's your order preference: Rat->Muff or Muff->Rat?

    It's also simple enough to build switching in to change routing if required.

    Note Vibeotronic in the UK sell BYOC kits. The BYOC Rat and Big Muff clones are awesome pedals (with some nice NOS parts).

    The Large Beaver (the BYOC Muff) also get's rave reviews on Kitraes site.... and that guy knows Big Muffs! I have one and its awesome.

    If you fancy having a go yourself I'd suggest starting there...
