Well, I've currently got this on eBay that I'd let go for a touch less to a fellow forumite

Or I have a Line6 Variax 500 in candy apple red (tortie pickguard) for £200.

:-O I dont want another guitar but even I am tempted by that.
    Godin's are always great
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • PRS Bernie Marsden in spalted maple? Has a push-push installed on the volume pot to give out-of-phase tone when switched, for those Peter Green moments...

    Still on the lookout Jon..?

I've got a cheap Hohner TE Professional Custom (Telecaster) you can have for next to nowt.

Been refinished in what I'd describe as a matte black.
Not a glossy finish. Looks quite cool.
Comes with a black guard on it.

    Nice all maple neck.
Frets are a bit worn in places, but still perfectly playable.
Imagine it could benefit from a leveling/crowning.
The neck itself feels great and is finished in a vintage gloss.

The bridge pickup is pretty decent. God knows what it is.
I've gigged with it using the bridge pickup alone (see my profile pic).
The neck pickup is, for want of a better word, shite.
That would 100% need replacing. I've never been near it. Just really low output and all round wank.

No gig bag or anything, but guess you can't go wrong for 70 quid?
The routing under the guard looks like it could do with a good bloody cleaning out too.

All in all, it's got potential to be a nice guitar, it just needs a bit of work.
Leaves you nearly 200 quid to work on it though, so could be an option?

Could chuck in an Oil City Fortyniner bridge pup for an extra 30 quid too.

  • I have a black Fender Mexican Strat with soft case for £225. It's got no fretwear, the white scratch plate has gone a parchment colour (as has the backplate which has left the faded remains of the original Fender sticker). It's got 9's on it and the action is about as low as it's possible to get. Selling it for a student of mine who has hardly ever touched it. Overall I'd say it's in very very good condition.
