So I got this amp and the sound is what I'm after but it's too damn heavy for my poor back! It's a 5E3 with a switchable 15/30 watts in a 2x12" cab. Sounds awesome and plays like a dream like you'd expect but I need a 1x12 6v6 15W 5E3 style amp really, so if anyone has anything to trade, then please give me a heads up! Pics will follow in a little while.

The Rosewell Bluesman 30 offers all the classic tone of the Bluesbaby with double the power. The Bluesman 30 utilises the original 5E3 circuit with added tonal tweak giving better projection and more clean headroom. The Bluesman 30 offers crisp warm clean tones at a volume which is perfect for the live environment. The amplifier is available in either laquered tweed or blonde tolex with oxblood grill.

Features include:

  • 57 5E3 style circuit
  • Steel Triple Chromed Chassis
  • 30w output
  • Fixed bias
  • Carbon comp resistors
  • Paper in oil capacitors
  • 18mm Birch ply cabinet with dovetail joints
  • 2x12 Tayden Ceramic speakers
  • 1x12AX7 1x 12AY7 4x6V6 and GZ34 Recifier tube
  • Optional half power switch
Give me a shout!

PRICE £800

Super amp have a bump - did you swap out the speakers yourself ? If so how do they compare/differ from the Taydens?

Not sure if this will interest you, not being a fender style amp but I have a clone of an 18 watt marshall head, also built by Dave at Rosewell and a matching custom made 1x12 zilla cab with a '69 greenback re-coned by tayden. Shoot me a pm if interested, I am based just south of Doncaster.

I'd be surprised if it's needed @hotpickups, especially as it has 15 & 30w options, I think it'd break up quicker that a J20 at 15w and give some nice, manageable breakup at 30w. I'm certainly interested to know a cash price.

I very nearly ordered one last year. The guilt of not really needing it talked me out of it ;)

With the switch-ability of the the amp down to 15watts its great and allows lower levels easily, still gives a sweet sound.
With regards to cash sale, I'm thinking £850 is fair

Hmm now think the it might be better to do £850 ONO
