WezV Slide instrument challenge - Build thread

I still have not finalised my plans, but i think I am going down the box instrument route - I have a few options already

I picked up the wine box the other day with this in mind, there other two have been hanging around the house for quite a while

i also found an old chuck or wood which might get used for a neck.  Some kind of rosewood I think, too small for anything else other than acoustic bridges, but its too rift sawn for them.  it might make a quite posh CBG neck

I am still struggling to decide what to build.

I have an idea for a harp lapsteel ticking around my head. Basically a normal lapsteel or console guitar with some long bass drone strings as well. Or maybe a dulcimer style

But I may still go with a simple CBG

I keep thinking about making a Koto. Not sure slide Koto is a thing, but it could be!!!

I'm liking the wine box, can't see an instrument in it, but Ilike the box, where does a chap get such a treasure?
